  i just got back from a ride along the world's largest skateway .

  a highlight of winter in ottawa is the rideau canal skateway, the worlds largest skating rink.

  skate through the heart of downtown ottawa on the rideau canal, a unesco world heritage site.. the skateway is 7.8 kilometres long, and begins just steps from canadas parliament buildings.

  What is happening to JWN ?...So many topics not relating to Jehovah's Witnesses!

  note the home page..wow how it has changed.. jehovah's witness discussion forumthe place to discuss anything relating to jehovah's witnesses and the watchtower bible and tract society... or just make new friends!.

  many of the posts have nothing to do with with jehovah's witnesses and new ones coming on this board would be turned off by the content of many of these off color posts.

  foul inappropriate language which is not proper or suitable for exiting witnesses to visibly inspect.

  this post was the reason I starte my "girls only" topic. I'm not always that "open" I don't like stupid rules that men make. We are adults for the most part and should have the freedom of speech that we deserve.

  If you don't like this site don't log in. I love it here! I feel in some ways I grew up here. I joined after I knew JW were crap but this site helped with the guilt and the underlining feeling of being raised in a cult. I like the non JW topics. That's what humans do. we have something that we can relate to but life is bigger and it shows the moving on fazed... and the bad speach? so what we can say what we feel now! love it

  Name Some Stupid Watchtower Rules or Ideas

  there's a lot.. one rule that is dumb is that a brother must wear a suit for a sunday public talk that he is giving.

  any other time, the brother could wear a suit coat with a different pair of pants and not be counseled for it.. another dumb idea is that you cannot date a person unless you seriously might marry them.

  if you're on a date, you were supposed to always have a chaperone and holding hands might not be allowed as well as sitting together.. what other dumb rules and ideas can you add?.
